CJK Meeting on Information and Telecommunication Standards(CJK IT Standards Meeting, hereafter) started on June 2002 with an initiative of ARIB of Japan, CCSA of China, TTA of Korea, and the TTC of Japan. 4 Standards Development Organizations(SDOs) recognized that mutual understanding and cooperation was necessary to promote sound growth and development of the information and telecommunication industries. In order to promote mutual understanding and cooperation in the common interested and agreed field, 4 SDOs signed the MoU at the 2nd CJK IT Standards Meeting held in Tokyo Japan on 7 Nov 2002, and amended it at the 14th CJK IT Standards Meeting held in Busan Korea on 17 Apr 2014.

The purpose of CJK IT Standards Meeting is to mutually exchange views and information on the status of Information and Telecommunication industries in the three countries, to contribute to the works of standards organizations of regional and global levels, and to encourage mutual support and assistance among four SDOs
