| 7th A4WP Plugfest International Interoperability Test Event Held | |

The Network Testing & Certification Department held its 7th A4WP International Interoperability Test Event at TTA from December 3rd to the 6th, 2014. With a total of 42 people from 18 companies attending, including Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Intel and Qualcomm, interoperability test sessions were carried out for eight power transmitters and ten power receivers. Through this event, the BSS v1.3 testing standard for wireless charging of Rezence-enabled mobile devices such as laptop computers and tablets that require more power was validated. In addition, based on the interoperability test results between products applying this standard, BSS v1.3 reference products will be selected. TTA, as a leading A4WP lab, contributed to new specification validation by operating an IDL (Interoperability Device List) station, which verifies backward compatibility with BSS v1.2 reference products, and actively performed certification WG activities, such as operating BSS v1.3 conformance test case validation sessions and participating in the A4WP automated conformance tester development task force.
