TTA and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI, Luis Jorge Romero Saro, Director General) held the second oneM2M Interop Event from May 10 to 13 2016. Held in TTA, this was the first oneM2M Interop Event in Korea and the largest event that aimed to promote commercialization by ensuring interoperability between oneM2M standard devices. Seventy people from 23 companies worldwide attended to verify the interoperability of their products with others. In addition to the interoperability testing specifications (TS-0013, interoperability testing) featured in the first Interop Event (jointly held by TTA and the ETSI in September 2015), this event offered a special testing session using compatibility testing devices based on the compatibility testing specifications being developed by oneM2M.

TTA is committed to unifying fragmented IoT platform standards by holding the oneM2M Interop Event and establishing and operating the TTA Verified testing and certification scheme. The association will actively incorporate various demands for verification and suggestions for technical supplements from domestic and international companies in oneM2M.
