Authorized as World’s First A4WP (Resonance Type) Independent Test Lab

On December 19, TTA was approved as the world’s first authorized test lab(ATL) recognized by A4WP (Alliance for Wireless Power). Led by Samsung and Qualcomm, A4WP is an organization founded in 2012 that is leading 6.78MHz resonant type wireless power transmission technology and promoting standardization for the technology . Recently, A4WP released a wireless charging system standard called ‘Rezence (resonant + essence).’ Unlike existing induction type chargers, Rezence improves the scope of wireless charging to allow several mobile devices to be charged simultaneously and enables charging even when a book or a similar obstable is located between a charging device and a charger. In addition, this system enables to charge a couple of various mobile devices simultaneously. As the A4WP ATL, TTA will provide testing services for member products seeking Rezence certification and will support to Korean companies in their endeavor to improve global competitiveness.
