| MOU signed between TTA and CCSA | |

On December 15, 2017, TTA and CCSA* signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation for standardization in 5G convergent fields (connected cars, etc.). The signing ceremony took place during the Korea-China 5G/V2X expert meeting held at the Datang Telecom Technology Industry Group, Beijing, China in the presence of Director General Dr. Kim, Gwang-soo representing the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT, and Mr. Li, Jianguo, Director of the department of Science and Technology representing the Chinese MIIT**. TTA and CCSA have been in partnership for information exchange and standardization cooperation since 2002. With the MOU, the two parties identified their common interests (5G technical assessment and autonomous car communications) and agreed to participate in related meetings and strengthen mutual cooperation in international standards organizations (ITU, APT, 3GPP, oneM2M, etc.).
