The oneM2M Steering Committee designated TTA as the world’s first oneM2M global certification body and test lab. TTA officially launched its test and certification services for all products worldwide on February 9 and has given certificates to four products made by Korean companies. Aiming to ensure the compatibility of oneM2M products and vitalize relevant industries, TTA started seeking the certification services in 2014 and built the foundation for the certification system by launching the TTA Verified Program in 2016. Now being promoted to the global certification body, the organization will be able to offer more authoritative internationally recognized test and certification services. TTA plans to continue expanding its certification services, for example, seeking international cooperation to incorporate the oneM2M standards and test specifications in leading test labs overseas.
