Standard Technologies in a Smart Phone at a Glance: Standards in My Hands

TTA researches and analyzes standards related to ICT products in order for companies to apply standards more easily in product planning and service implementation. In particular, in 2015, TTA produced and distributed illustrations titled “Standards in My Hands,” which were designed to promote a better understanding of the public on the results of TTA’s research and analysis on various standards related to the smart phone which includes a full range of technical standards. The “Standards in My Hands” shows exploded view of smart phones and relevant domestic and international standards(e.g., 3GPP, IEEE, ETSI, TTA) related to LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc. The illustrations are produced in various forms and will be distributed at many standardization events such as K-ICT and the ICT Forum Korea, as well as in standard training sessions and seminars, thereby contributing to raising awareness on and promoting standards. The illustrations can be downloaded from TTA’s ICT standardization cyber assistance system (http://assist.tta.or.kr) for free.
