On June 23, 2015, the 85th Technical Assembly was held with several agendas on the plate including adoption of TTA standards. Of the 27 TTA standards that were proposed, 26, including ‘ITU-T Rec. G.996X based Transmission Technology on a Copper for Giga-Internet,’ ‘Interoperability Test Specification for Mobile Payment’ and ‘A Requirement on the Print-out Verification of the 3D Model,’ were adopted with the remaining one set aside for re-examination. At the same time, 11 standards that are no longer valid due to revision or adoption of alternative standards were abolished. In addition, among the previously adopted standards, the Assembly decided to recommend another 8 standards, including ‘A Common Platform for Network Hardware’ and ‘Security Requirements for the Anti-DDoS Appliances,’ to be adopted as Korea Communications Standards (KCS).
