| TTA Acquired Qualification of CTIA MIMO OTA Internationally Certified Laboratories | |

On January 2, the TTA acquired the qualification of CTIA Internationally Certified Laboratories for testing the MIMO radioactive performance of LTE cell phones from CTIA. The TTA can now offer the internationally certified test service of CTIA MIMO OTA to Korean cell phone manufacturers through the acquired qualification. Accordingly, Korean mobile phone makers can take the CTIA MIMO OTA test conveniently in Korea for products exported to North America, which will help improve the competitiveness of the related products. The CTIA MIMO OTA test evaluates the transmission speed improvement of LTE cell phones in the MIMO electromagnetic environment and is scheduled to be adopted as a prerequisite test for North American PTCRB certification in the first half of 2017. |
