TTA was designated as the quality inspection agency for aviation safety facilities

Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) was designated as the Quality Inspection Agency of Aviation Safety Facility by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) on September 26th. Aviation Safety Facility helps aircraft safely operate through wire/wireless communications, light, color, and shape. Since the Facility requires the highest level of reliability, technical criteria that must be achieved are regulated by law. MOLIT can designate Quality Inspection Agency to inspect whether or not systems satisfy the technical criteria, which requires the professional knowledge and experience. TTA has already studied international technical criteria and development standards regarding Aviation Safety Facility since 2014. From this designation, TTA becomes more credible for the verification of aviation systems and has a foothold in the system verification of other transportation fields including automobiles, railroads, and maritime transportation.
