84th Technical Assembly Held

The 84th Technical Assembly was held via correspondence from March 30th to April 13th with several agendas on the plate including adoption of TTA standards. During this assembly, 10 TTA standards including 'Transmission and Reception for Smart Sign Language Broadcasting Service,' 'Emergency Data Exchange Language-Distribution Element' and 'Device-to-Device (D2D) Communication Method for Always Online Infrastructure (AOI)' were adopted, and 31 standards that are no longer valid due to revision or substitution were abolished. In addition, the Assembly revised the Information and Telecommunication Standardization Operation Regulations to collect recommendation letters for candidates for chairperson and vice chairperson elections from respective organizations as active involvement of the Assembly is required.
