2nd International A4WP RAT Testing Event Held

The Network Testing & Certification Department held its 2nd A4WP RAT (Resonator Acceptance Test) event at the conference room (BL-1) and shielding room (2nd floor) of the TTA building from February 9th to the 13th. This event was organized with the goal to accept a number of resonators used for medium power devices for the sake of A4WP BSS v1.3 standardization. The acceptance test was conducted on ten resonators with 13 companies including Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Intel and WiTricity attending. For the RAT, TTA operated a total of eight test stations. It also participated in verification of the RAT testing environment and procedures as well as the resonator acceptance process. Through this event, the acceptance test was completed on all of the ten resonators. In addition, details of the errors in the testing standard verified through this event will be reflected in the resonator test standard development. It is expected that TTA will obtain qualification as the first A4WP resonator certification & test lab by the first half of this year.
