| 7th CJK Information Security WG Meeting Held in Jeju | |

The 7th CJK Information Security WG* meeting was held from February 4th to the 5th at the Ramada Plaza Jeju with a total of 17 information security standardization experts from the three countries. At the meeting, the attendants discussed cooperation in developing international standards for smart grid, P2P, ITS, cloud/IoT network security and next-generation authentication technologies in order to promote ITU-T SG17 (security) international standardization. In addition, in order to facilitate better exchange of data on information security, an open cloud service security standard in China was introduced together with presentations and discussions on the level of information security preparedness carried out in Korea. The attendants also agreed to hold the 8th CJK Information Security WG meeting in Sapporo, Japan from May 11th to the 13th concurrently with the 14th CJK IT Standards Meeting. *** CJK Information Security WG: Established at the 11th CKJ IT Standards Meeting in March 2012 |
