u-Healthcare Medical System Interoperability Test 2015 Held
As an international authorized laboratory for Continua Health Alliance for u-Health medical care certification and testing, TTA ICT Testing & Certification Laboratory held a "u-Healthcare Medical System Interoperability Test 2015" in order to build a cooperative relationship with related international organizations and to activate domestic and international health ICT industries. In this event, held for two days (Oct 15&16) at Hongcheon Resort, no fewer than ten u-Healthcare service providers including Insung Information and BITCOMPUTER participated in reviewing the interoperability testing conducted between u-Healthcare measuring devices and u-Healthcare gateway products. The test was conducted by selecting test items for communication connections from the "u-Healthcare Medical System Permission & Evaluation Guideline," which was established by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The test items included a single agent connection to a manager, single stored measurements single device connection, temporarily stored measurements single device connection, multiple agent connections and single stored measurements single device connection after unexpected connection. Most manufacturers used a Bluetooth-based transmission layer and participated in the test by applying HDP and BLE healthcare profiles to their products. Through this event, TTA was able to build a close cooperative relationship with u-Healthcare medical system developers by delivering testing methods to and promoting technological exchange with the companies. It is anticipated that this event will contribute to securing interoperability and improving product reliability through standard-based u-Healthcare medical system development.
