86th Technical Assembly Held

From September 30 to October 13, the 86th Technical Assembly was held via correspondence with several agendas on the plate including adoption of TTA standards. During this assembly, six TTA standards including "40-gigabit-capable passive optical networks (NG-PON2): Physical media dependent (PMD) layer specification" and "Routing Bridges (RBridges): Base Protocol Specification" were adopted and four that are no longer valid due to termination of related domestic projects or adoption of the revised standards were abolished. In addition, eight TTA standards including "The Measurement of Induced Voltages onto Telecommunication Line," "128-Bit Block Cipher LEA" and "Measurement Method of Total Human Exposure Levels to EMF" were selected for recommendation as Korea Communications Standards.
