Wi-Fi Aware™ Certification and Testing Service Provided

On July 15, TTA started providing Wi-Fi Aware™ international certification and testing service for wireless LAN products. Wi-Fi Aware™ is the latest technology for discovering neighboring Wi-Fi devices, application programs and services by recognizing Wi-Fi devices nearby, and thus provides effective Wi-Fi connection with low power consumption. Using Wi-Fi AwareTM, information and services set by a user can be conveniently located even in a crowded environment. Therefore, this technology can be used in a range of applications including games and media content sharing. TTA plans to provide interoperability test services for various Wi-Fi AwareTM-related applications developed by domestic companies.
